Bivins Neighborhood

Bivins neighborhood is located north of Wolflin neighborhood and I-40, south of 10th Ave and Wild Horse Lake neighborhood, east of Georgia Street and Country Club/Westlawn neighborhood & west of I-27 and Plemons Historical District neighborhood in Potter County.

Bivins is one of Amarillo's older neighborhoods and boasts vintage homes ranging mainly from the late 30's through the 50's, although numerous homes were built in the 60's, 70's, and 80's. Julian Blvd, that lies in the heart of the neighborhood and now includes ranch style homes built mainly in the 40's into the early 60's once was an airstrip named Bivins Flying Field, belonging to the Bivins family in the 1920's.

Saint Andrews Episcopal Church and School sits at the southwestern corner of the area & a quick drive north on Georgia Street takes you to the Historic Route 66 on 6th Street, which includes numerous antique shops and eateries.
